Dear CCP,
as with the beta version the new launcher crashes on start.
I'm running on OS X 10.7.5. The old launcher runs perfectly.
So, maybe I'm doing something wrong:
1) I downloaded the launcher from the link you provided in the first post. 2) Gatekeeper is off. 3) Unpack the dmg file 4) Drag&drop the launcher to /Applications 5) Double click the icon 6) crash "EVE Launcher quits unexpectedly"
When I start the launcher from the command line I get:
eimc:~ tc: /Applications/EVE/EVE\ Launcher.app/Contents/MacOS/evelauncher Segmentation fault: 11 eimc:~ tc:
As you can see my EVE installation resides in a subdirectory of /Applications.
I filed a bug report (EBR-60836) but it was closed because OS X 10.7 is not supported anymore (according to the bug report). However, the download page says OS X 10.7.5 and above!
Can you please elaborate on this?
Thanks and kind regards, Tass

Oh great! Now you changed the OS X version number on the download page to 10.9 And not a word was spoken in the last 24 hours.
What do you think I am thinking now?
Best regards, Tass

I tell you what I thought: 'Let's install the latest OS X version and see what happens.'
Installed it, works, your launcher is happy, so am I.
However, your way of communicating my Bug Report as well as your silent changing of the version number on the download page is not quite what I expect from you. The least thing could have been a short note like 'Thanks for finding the typo.' That is not Customer Service V. But that's just me.
Best regards, Tass

Here's what I commented on the bug report:
My apologies, the text on this page is inconsistent. If you look below in System Requirements the minimum listed is OS X 10.9. I'll make sure the text there is updated to accurately reflect our system requirements.
I appreciate you bringing this to my attention, and I'm sorry if you feel our service is not as it should be.
Dear CCP Snorlax,
I did not expect to read the reply on my bug report page
However, thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction and for fixing the typo on the download page.
Now, I'm happy with your service again. Sometimes it's just the small details, isn't it?
What counts in the end is a launcher/client which does its job - and now it works! Well done, good job, love you guys.
Best regards, Tass
